Comida, muita comida

Sem português para esse post, porque é auto-explicativo. Só vou mostrar as comidas brasileiras aqui.

Since my first day in Brazil, I only eat what I really want to eat, it’s amazing! Look at these pictures:

This is a carrot cake with chocolate on top… made by my grandma.

Everyone knows those birthday cakes that are always sweet, right? This is the one I have for my birthday, it’s salty. Normally made with bread, chicken, tomato paste, mayonnaise, cheese and corn.

These are called coxinha. It’s what we eat for snacks in birthday parties. It’s made with dough and stuffed with chicken, then you just have to put things together and fry.

This is called quindim. It’s a candy made only with eggs, sugar and coconut. It’s very difficult to cook it, so I bought it in the supermarket. The taste is awesome!

This was my first lunch in Brazil… rice, beans and collard greens with farinha (which is some sort of yuca powder).
